Get Shirty: Shades of Autumn (and a bit of summer!)

The deadline is looming people! You have until midnight GMT on the 27th of September to submit your shirt refashions for a chance to win that AMAZING prize package. (Yep that’s 4 days left!) In the meantime….if you’re after some last minute inspiration….

Gemma landed this awesome plaid shirt and had some fun styling up her refashion by the looks of it! Gemma you like a fun lady to be around ๐Ÿ˜‰

I am running to keep up with you guys and am seriously chuffed with how much everyone has got on board and embraced this year’s challenge!     These are all impressive, but those trousers are making me swoon!

    Okay…my refashion is done! My post is written! Just need to get the PHOTOS taken! I’m hoping for today for that!

    Dear Portia -thanks a ton for putting us up to all of this wicked refashioning action! I have learned a LOT about shirts (and trousers ๐Ÿ˜‰ ) and you really got me started on unpicking clothes and experimenting… The fun has only just started! ?

      Ah lady! You are welcome! Deconstructing is such a great way to see how a garment is put together. I really love what you’ve been doing and if that’s what you can do as a beginner….I can’t wait to see what you come up with going forward. I sincerely hope you’ve caught the bug for a lifetime because I honestly think you have some natural talent! Start a blog girl! I’ll follow!

        Aaah Portia!! Thanks ๐Ÿ˜€ Don’t worry, I’ll definitely stick to sewing! In fact, I’m quite seriously playing with the thought of having a blog – I just need to get my stuff together first ๐Ÿ˜‰ I’ll let you know when it’s ready!
