Hello there peops! Well, regular readers of my blog will know that I have been dipping my toes in the world of TV this year. This summer we finally finished filming a pilot for a TV show for a major UK network. Well that one didn’t make the cut in the end. But things are still bubbling away and am currently working with a completely different (and rather lovely) production company on a project that is much closer to my heart than the other show was. That particular project is very early doors and very hush hush for now, but VERY exciting! As ever I will keep you posted but what I am finding is that the wheels of TV land turn very slowly indeed!
That particular project aside, it turns out the world of TV is actually very small indeed. Everyone, knows someone, who knows someone, who knows someone…..you get the gist! So the other day I got a phonecall out of the blue from a lovely series producer called Livia, on behalf of production company Twenty Twenty. She was after my help. You know me, I’m always happy to help! She’s on the hunt for vintage lovers (naturally I thought of you guys!) whose collections are on the verge of getting out of hand, or in need of a little curating…..Clothes, bags, shoes, furniture….anything vintage that you have a passion for collecting…
I’ll hand over to Livia to tell you a little more…
So, if you are UK based and feel like getting involved, then get in touch!! Go on!
Wow, that sounds amazing! What great opportunities! If I were in the UK I’d totally have to check this out. 🙂
Ha, if only they included second hand sewing machines….all of a sudden I went from 2 modern machines to 2 modern machines and 4 second hand machines!!
Will spread the word! Sounds exciting Portia!
